and Fitness
I
am a teacher and an artist. I currently teach third grade at a great school five minutes from home. I have also taught art
at all grade levels, and English as a second language. I am very creative which one can see in my home, my flare for cooking,
my love of music, and my artwork - sculpture, drawing, painting, collage, and photography.

I enjoy physical activities such as running, walking, biking,
hiking, yoga, ballroom and Latin dancing, and ballet. I also work out and swim at my fitness club. I play with my friends'
kids in the pool and when I run at Carmel beach I get to play with the dogs! I also love to travel. I have been to Europe three times where I
was able to practice my Spanish and French. I have taken many US trips too. Several have been road trips here
in beautiful California.

About Joyce, By Her Sisters
Nancy says:
"Joyce is a beautiful woman inside and out. She is always interested in constant improvement in
her life and she is passionate about art, music, cooking, traveling and family. Joyce has a great sense of humor and
I’m impressed how she is not afraid to try new things like recently starting dance lessons. Joyce is active and
loves to hike with friends, walk on the beach, swim, go to museums, galleries, and art shows. She is an excellent cook,
a gracious host, and loves to entertain friends with wonderful home cooked meals.
Family is very important to Joyce and she has nurtured extremely close relationships with both of our parents,
especially our Mother. She is a wonderful sister and a very loving Aunt to her five nieces and our nephew. Joyce
has always wanted a family of her own and has always expressed a life long dream to be a mother.
Joyce has a beautiful balance of strength and grace. She is an exceptionally loving,
caring and tender woman. I know that she will be a dedicated, loving and nurturing mom and that her child will always feel
loved, listened to and cared for with a lot of fun (and amazing cooking) along the way!"
Eileen says:
"My sister will make a wonderful mother. She is a patient caring woman who
truly enjoys engaging with and caring for children. As a teacher, she offers positive reinforcement, understanding,
and gentle encouragement, and has a keen understanding of the importance of helping children foster their sense of self esteem.
I know that she will use those skills she has honed in the classroom as a mom. Joyce has wanted to be a mom for as long
as I can remember, and I know she will be a fantastic mother. I know she will raise responsible, happy, confident children
that will enjoy life as much as she does."
